January Read Along – The Great Divorce

As I posted earlier about the 2013 read along, here is January’s book – The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis. If anyone is interested let me the-great-divorce-coverknow. For those local, we can get together to discuss the book; others, we can try the online discussion format.

  1. I stumbled onto this book years ago by accident. I went to the library to get another recommended read, and the only form they had it in was recorded with another audio selection of Lewis’ , The Great Divorce. It figuratively and literally spoke to me, so much so that I purchased a copy for a family member. I tried reading the book, but, for me, the audio I was able to absorb much better. It’s a Brit that reads, a male with the last name Whitefield; good name, eh?

    • I guess to stumble upon the Great Divorce is a pleasant surprise. I’ve not seen the audio, but I think I might have to get it for my commute. Thanks for letting me know.
